Boseong Bus Terminal (South Korea) Koreans are vain culture, concerned with how they look. I won’t deny that accusation- Koreans, both men and women, dress very well and there are mirrors in almost every public area to assure you look good. But how far will vanity go? Despite Boseong bus terminal is out in the more remote countryside of Jeollanam-do, the bus terminal has added a little something extra to its restroom bathroom stalls. As you see, there’s the toilet, the waste basket and then,… what’s on the wall right in front of you as you do your business but squat-level mirror? Now you can check yourself while taking a whizz.

I noticed that too. And it was such a nasty bathroom to begin with. Yuck! I hate the Boseong Bus Terminal. It’s personal.

Yeah. Actually, I wonder if it has something to do with Feng Shui.

At least they didn’t put the mirror on the floor…

@Laura: I guess that’s the one spot Koreans don’t really care to see up close. A little too close to the sex issue. haha…
@Barbara: ha ha… feng shui huh? That’s a good one. Guess while you’re picking spinach from your teeth you can contemplate that. You must have run across that bathroom when you passed thru Boseong station…

The best part about that bathroom is the lack of locks on the stalls! once I saw an ajuma poke her head in on every girl in there.
