1. Free high at night…. Though a bit skunky
2. Bicycles are more dangerous than cars, most riders are extremely rude and believe that they own the road

It’s the De Young Museum, not De Jong. Totally agree with staying away from Pier 39. Golden Gate Park is a great place to do lots of things-‘ people watch, have a picnic, just enjoy being outside. Clement Street in the Richmond district has all kinds of great food.

I never knew that San Francisco has chilly weather. My sister was wanting to go there for a trip but she didn’t know much about it. I’ll pass this information along to her if she ever does plan on going to San Francisco.

I love San Francisco! I lived in San Jose for a short time, and used to head over there all the time. I also REALLY loved Santa Cruz and the rest of the area, like Monterrey and Carmel. Just past Carmel is where the ride starts getting really incredible. I have done that drive three times now and am always amazed how beautiful that stretch of road is. It’s also amazing up here in Oregon, but gets really scenic down that way. And, the redwoods just a bit north are something that I always look at in awe!

SF is a great city, it’s a shame about the 100’s of drug addicts everywhere you go. Dirty needles, human feces litter many places .
