Yay! Glad to hear that @David. My stay 2.5days but this was my second time . Pai is touristy but it’s what you make of it and as I said to Jay above this comment, it’s one hour to Pang Mapha/Soppong where I went for my first rugged caving experience; it’s small villagey. You didn’t make it here yet Jay? It might feel too traveler for you, but as I say– it’s the fredom of a motorbike and a beautiful countryside. If you’re in Chiang Mai, it’s a great stopover for a couple days of R &R and the mini van will only cost you 200baht.
