Hey Christine, I loved your article. I had been to Darjeeling when I was little. It has been many years now. I visited some places you have mentioned, tea gardens but Tiger Hill mountain. The toy train ride was just amazing and I hope to visit Darjeeling soon again.

Yay.. thanks buddy, this was easy for me to get some tips about Darjeeling. Though I was there for couple of hours on my way back from Singhalila reserve forest ( which is india nepal border) trekking.
I’m going to see around Darjeeling this time and really needed some info and tips.

In reply to John Zhang. I would check travel warnings for Darjeeling. Currently they're undergoing political unrest. Other neighboring parts of Darjeeling are open and safe to visit.Transportation to Darjeeling; Watch my video on getting to Darjeeling. =D
