As a resident of the city of Daegu thank you for your posts for all your posts on Daegu. Its hard to find English sites and recommendations on things to do in the city. Years later and us ladies of Daegu are still sharing this particular page on Facebook for haircut recommendations.

I got the S curl perm (first time perm) right before I left Seoul. I got the S curl perm involving an octopus looking contraption. After the perm, I was instructed to do a twirly thing while blowdrying my hair to get the easy low maintenance look. It’s been about 5 days since I got the perm, but I’m pretty sure my perm dries straight even if I do the twirly thing I was instructed to do. I was wondering if you had any pics on what it looks like when you get your hair ready at home? I’m not sure if my perm was supposed to end up with mostly straight hair. My cut/perm was 200,000 KRW which was pretty pricey, so I’m bummed that it didn’t work and I can’t go back to have the salon take a look at it. My type of perm was advertised as a low maintenance style, just twirl and go. But if I have to use daily rollers to get that curl, then that defeats the purpose of getting the perm in the first place.

In reply to shangy20. Sorry, I meant I found another store offering volume straight for 100,000 won, but Juno Hair is a popular place. I don't want to spend 220,000 this time around but I want my results to last for a long time since I'll be leaving Korea soon.

In reply to thoa. I did mine at Juno Hair last year, half straight and half perm. The straight part was good but the perm, not that much. Maybe cuz I already had wavy hair. I called them today to ask the price and they said 220,000 won. A store that does it for 100,000 won, do you think the results will last long?
