Wolfgang You’re best googling dates. Dates change annually; and you’re not seeing exact dates, b/c lantern dates weren’t released until it gets much closer to the event. I can’t remember if I got my dates a month before or even later.

We’ll stay in Chaing Mai from november 9th to november 15th and it would be great to be part of the monk ceremony at wat phan tao. But we can’t find some exact information on which date the ceremony takes place. Will it bee on Sunday the 10th, or on Saturday the 9th or on monday the 11th… We don’t know…

It would be great if you have some better information for us. =)
