@Feather: Sorry ;-( But it's not forever. I plan on being back within the year. Fingers crossed. Hmmm.. There are organic grocery depts out there-- I think you can find them either in some HOmepluses or Emarts. But some of the other finds were basically, like treasure hunting. You get it piece by piece. Will try to think of tips for that.

@3gyupsal: Awww... I love you for saying all that. That's one of the best comments I've received, but it's you who enters into conversation with me! And from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for doing that! Maybe if I ever get out to Jinju in the future we can meet. As I said before, I"m not saying an absolute goodbye to Korea, but my status is unknown.

And don't get crusty. Save that should you ever return to the States!

I love how this blog made things in Korea so interesting. I think it is because you tell a good story in your travel logs. I'm a crusty old five year veteran of this place and a lot of blogs that I have read about places in Korea never really grabbed me that much. I love how this blog reads like a conversation with a friend who you secretly feel jealous of because that person always has the most unique experiences. You know, that guy who goes to the middle of Kansas and just happens to share a piece of pie with Bill Murray. It was a pleasure to read.

Tears. Seriously, I just realized you replied to my comment on the other post; that coupled with your post about you leaving in a week just makes me sad I didn't get there sooner. Well, I'll be one of those moving in. I'm just glad I got some culture shock in Europe first and have learned some ways to cope, although I know S. Korea will be very, very different. I didn't realize you were a vegetarian, so please send me all the tips you have! I know there are Loving Huts all over, but what about organic grocers and other finds.

You're a lovely writer. I look forward to following your travels to India.
