Dear GRRRL TRAVELER, From the heading of this article it is possible to get the impression that Tukyoyuktuk is in the province of British Columbia. It is in the Inuvik Region of the Northwest Territories. Back in the 1980's I spent the month of late September early October working on the construction of a dock in the Tuktoyaktuk (SE of the airstrip). I was on the night shift. When I started it was daylight at the start and end of the shift. But near the end of my month there it was dark when we started and still dark when we finished the 12 hour shift, and it was beginning to snow rather than rain.

GRRRL TRAVELER - Yes in Tuk. At the time, a Nephew was posted there (RCMP). Stayed there for 14 nights, travelling out from there. It was brilliant!
