Hooo crowds can be a distraction for first timers. lol. I’d only recommend a motorbike in mellow areas like Goa, where there’s not much traffic. Drivers slice it close in India.

It seems as tho, train travel is very much used in India. I’m not familiar seeing stations being so full. That alone adds to the confusion for new travelers. I’m guessing renting some kind of scooter or motor bike would be a bit crazy, unless you really know how to get around.
