I made my own way. Met a Black Hmong woman who invited me to stay at her place . There were no other houses nearby. No toilet, just a pig outside, waiting to dispose of any deposits. No table, just stools to sit on which we took off the walls. Food was exactly what the family ate- rice and greens, which surprisingly tasted delicious after all that walking and Fire making. The floor was made from compacted earth and was wonderfully uneven. The family of four all slept together in the only bed, behind a screen and I slept on a reed mat besides the fire with a colourful blanket. Breakfast was the leftovers from the night before, reheated. It was the best sleep Id ever had. Silent and fresh.

@Nabaraj: Can you guide cross country treks? I'm sure you must have trekked many cool places overall. Do you have any favorites?
@Chance: Thanks. I try? =-)
@Laura:Yes, very sad. Just didn't know how to respond to that. On one hand, she's so young that you wonder if she's felt heartbreak and on the other, the whole situation is all too mature.
