that was just for Myanmar, and it might have already changed, but that was the way it was in Aug 2013.

Hi @Debbie Ann. Thanks for sharing another story~ I’ve never heard of that before. I didn’t know you couldn’t get a visa in Singapore. Was that only for Myanmar or all countries?

The consulate sent me to a business, which arranged for me to get a business visa, which I paid for when I arrived in Myanmar (plus a small fee to the business in Singapore). Strangest visa procedure so far! but it did work, and I loved our trip to Myanmar.
